My trip to North Carolina

One of my favorite things to write about is my Grandchildren.  I recently flew back to North Carolina to celebrate everyday life with Missy & her family.  And what a celebration it was!!!  GL & I became close buddies during this week.  Spending time reading, learning a few sign language skills from a book, eating strawberries, blowing bubbles and he could even may it clear that he didn't agree with "time out".  By the end of the trip, "No Grama" was really clear.  Spending time with my oldest daughter was priceless.  One day we headed to the beach where I could have played in the ocean all day.  The water was warm (once I froze) and the boogie board surfing was incredible!  GL even got to attend his first rodeo and meet his great-grandfather.

Here are a few pictures of my trip.  Going over past blog posts you'll see how much GL has grown.  He is quite the little man.

Hi, I live in NC. What beach did you guys go to?
We were just at Kure Beach where my husband was in a triathlon. After the race my daughter, husband & I jumped in the ocean water....it was wonderful:-)

Your grandson is adorable!
