Just a couple more ...

More Puppy Pics

They are getting bigger each day. All six of them crowd onto a dog bed to sleep. They love to travel across the road to check out the cows & calves. Huey will be going to his new home tomorrow ... just five more to go. Thanks to the little neighbor guy, two of the females have names -- Daisy (Duck) & Minnie (Mouse). We went on to name the other gals Meg & Lucy (red pup). The fluffy fat guy is Jake and he is an absolute fluff ball.

What's up with this weather?

Oh my gracious. Just came in from running errands and my bones are chilled. The wind is blowing and driving to town this morning there was snow on the road and covering the beautiful green wheat.

Finally got my scraproom/yoga studio organized and set up the way I like. Now if I can get my Honey to get some 'honey-do' stuff marked off his list, the room would be complete. I'm now on the hunt for some soft 'cowgirl' fabric to make some curtains. The window is long rectangular in shape, not real deep, so I don't want to cover it completely. I'll take pictures when it is completely complete.

More news from our homefront. DD#2 announced her wedding date --- August 30th in Bridgeton, New Jersey. She wants me to make the invites. I'm looking for any suggestions, ideas, etc. Her colors are red, white & blue. He is active duty Marine Corps and will be wearing his blues.

Happy Easter & Spring to my wonderful friends.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

*Kiss me ... I'm Irish!* One of the 'funnest' holidays to celebrate in my home. I always cook corned beef & cabbage and try a new Irish dessert, and of course .... drink Guinness! Last year I found some Irish Toasts on line and had alot of fun with our friends toasting one another.

These past few weeks I've kept busy with yoga. I'm still using my cheat sheet but am feeling much more confident facilitating the classes. I wanted to share the 'logo' created for me my a local graphic designer. I wanted a stick figure but didn't want to infringe on another company's logo. I love the bale of straw.
Haven't been scrapping that much and really need to get back to it. I'm taking tomorrow off and my plan is to completely clean up/organize my scraproom. With a new grandbaby, a wedding (another daughter) and just life in general, I need to scrap, complete projects and again, just scrap. Besides ... it is my therapy. Scrapping is so therapeutic for me. I can get lost in my scrapbook room for hours ... and just do one layout! I don't know if that is good or bad. I get caught up in the memories of the photo(s), finding the 'words' to write. Not wanting perfection yet creating a memory.
I'm glad I don't have internet in my scrap room otherwise I'd be lost in the gallery @ CMK and the blogs of all the talent guys/gals that scrap & create such wonderful & unique items. If you haven't checked out the gallery @ CMK ... you're missing out.
Happy St. Patty's Weekend! May the luck of the Irish be with you.

To Life!

Spring is finally here (I'm hoping) here on the Palouse. Dick has already been on the tractor and has spring farming fever. The wheat fields are blanketed in green, bulbs are coming up and it is time for yardwork.

The puppie are already 10 weeks old ... seems like they were just born yesterday.

And for my big news .. I'm going to be a Grandma. My Missy is due on October 27th. My first baby and my first grandbaby. Wow .. the rush of love I feel as I imagine holding a little one in my arms .. the continuation of life. That next level of life. Amazing.
